例句：It's raining. (it is)
这家公司改了名字。

撇号代表省略的字母，不代表所属。it’s 永远等于 “it is / it has”。

Daily English | its vs. it's
“It's” = “it is” or “it has”. “Its” = belonging to it. No apostrophe for possession.

Example: It's raining. (it is)
   → Chinese given as: 这家公司改了名字。

Tip: Apostrophe = missing letter, not ownership. “it’s” is always “it is / it has”.
