Teach the world. Keep 100%.

Becoming an independent online tutor

If you already teach online — or you want to start — you don't need an agency to find students. An agency interviews you, sets your rate, takes a percentage of every lesson, and owns the relationship with the student. Listing yourself independently means you keep all of that: your pricing, your schedule, your students, and 100% of what you earn.

What you give up is the agency's marketing. That's the gap Global Tutor Board fills — a public, searchable board where students look for tutors by subject, language, country and budget, and contact you directly.

There's no commission on anything you earn and no monthly fee — just one flat listing fee ($15 Standard or $30 Featured, per 3 months, paid once, no auto-renewal). See the plans and sign up →

Reach students other platforms can't

Global Tutor Board is served entirely through Cloudflare, with no dependencies on services blocked in mainland China. That means your profile actually loads for students inside China — a market most Western tutoring platforms are invisible in — as well as learners across Vietnam, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Latin America and the Gulf. Students there are looking for independent English, IELTS, business-English and kids' tutors, with far less competition than on the mainstream platforms.
