A ready-to-teach unit of four lessons of about an hour each, for upper-intermediate learners preparing for work, study abroad or exams. Every piece has a student sheet to print or share on screen, and a teacher’s page or answer key. It works one-to-one, in small groups and in a classroom.

The four lessons

Lesson 1: Words and first talk

Vocabulary and speaking: the topic words, a worksheet and speaking cards or a discussion sheet.

Lesson 2: Grammar in use

The grammar the unit needs, practised on paper and through a listening task.

Lesson 3: Reading and real talk

A reading text, then a dialogue, lesson plan or role-play so students use the language.

Lesson 4: Write, review and test

A writing task, a review quiz, the unit test and the homework pack.

The unit plan has a student passport (goals, key language and a lesson tracker), and the unit comes with its own test, homework and quiz.
