My students
A profile for each of your own students. In a lesson, switch into one and every word you highlight goes into their word bank — no login, no email, nothing for the student to set up.

How it works in a lesson
- Add your student here, then press Teach as next to their name.
- Open any reading, dialogue or article and share your screen as usual. A purple Teaching as button sits in the bottom-left corner — you can switch student there without coming back.
- Highlight a word, then choose Didn’t understand or Mispronounced. It keeps the sentence it came from and adds the translation in their home language.
- Next lesson, open Word bank and use Review now to test them on last time’s words.
Teaching on another website? Save words from there too
Drag this button to your browser’s bookmarks bar once:
- In any lesson on any website, highlight the word you want.
- Click Save word to GTB in your bookmarks bar. A small window opens with the word and the sentence.
- Click Didn’t understand or Mispronounced. It saves to the student you chose, and the window closes.
If a site keeps the lesson inside a frame so the highlight can’t be read, the small window lets you type or paste the word instead. Open it now →

Pick their home language: each word you save for them also gets its translation in that language.
